FREUDLP135 cover LP Mockup 225pxFour Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers' demo sessions from 1976 & 1977, in limited transparent magenta vinyl.

Includes a 12” poster insert of the Roberta Bayley L.A.M.F. cover outake photo. The inner bag has a Walter Lure interview by Thunders’ biographer Nina Antonia in 2005.  Now due for release on Record Store Day Black Friday, November 25 2022. **

Compiled together on one album for the first time, are four Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers' studio demo sessions - two from 1976 in New York and two from 1977 in London.

The album shows the development of the band building towards their classic 1977 ‘L.A.M.F.’ album (recently reissued with a newly found original master*), and further points to the direction they would have gone had they not split up.  It includes I Wanna Be Loved taken from a 1/4" master-tape discovered by Walter Lure in his attic, subsequent to it appearing on the now-deleted 'Definitive Edition' box set.

Pressed in transparent magenta vinyl, it comes with a 12” poster of the Roberta Bayley cover photo - an outtake from the L.A.M.F. cover session, and an inner bag with the late Walter Lure interviewed by Johnny Thunders’ biographer Nina Antonia in 2005.  The release is a month before Johnny Thunders' 70th birthday.
